Local Vibes

Residential spot close to Pirate Studios Glasgow

Glasgow famously has more vegan restaurants per capita than any other city in the UK. One of our faves, Stereo Cafe Bar, mixes music, food, and good times. The cafe often provides access to the club, an underground space that stands in contrast to the fine exterior.

Need a quick-fire and iconic introduction to the Glaswegian dance scene? Sub Club is a club and music venue located at 22 Jamaica Street in the city. Fact: It opened 01 April 1987 and is the longest-running underground club in the world.

Looking for coffee? Who isn't? The good people of the Good Coffee Cartel are just a stone's throw away on the other side of Kinning Park. Hit them up before your next 10-hour recording marathon in the recording studio.

How much of my time will the program take each week?

Apprenticeship training should be delivered during the apprentices’ working hours. All apprentices must be allocated 20% of their paid working hours for “off-the-job training”.That can be spread in any way across your working week and does not need to be taken as a solid chunk. It will likely vary week to week according to the specific course you are on and what is being delivered and its method of delivery each week.

Please see the “Delivery method” section of each cohort to get a better idea of how much

What if I decide to leave halfway through the program?

Our recruitment process will be focused on ensuring that we get people who are truly committed to their course.

In the first instance, we will do everything we can to support the apprentice to remain on the program.

In exceptional circumstances, such as long-term illness or in some cases personal challenges, we can apply a ‘break in learning’ to allow the apprentice some time away from their learning.
